Workout DVD's

So, I love workout DVD's, mostly the dance ones. Right now I'm doing Shaun T's Rockin Body and I love it. Some people may laugh at Shaun T and think hes cheesy or his workouts are cheesy but man am I sweating at the end of it and its fun for me. I tried the 21 day fix which contains some workout DVD's and they worked, I was deff sore the next day and they were difficult (in a good way) but they were sooooo boring. I just didn't look forward to putting those DVD's in. So then I bought Shaun T's Rockin body and I do look forward to putting his DVD's in.

Some may ask, why don't you just go to the gym? With working 40 hours a week its sometimes difficult to find enough time to spend with my daughter. I think to myself, why am I going to take the time out of "mommy and Allie time" to go to the gym? When I did go to the gym I felt extremely guilty by leaving her to go workout. I felt selfish and like a bad mommy even though I was consistently told by my therapist and family that I shouldn't feel that way. Then I tried going to the gym before she even woke up 5-6 AM but lets be honest, I'm a mommy of a one year old that works full time, I need my sleep and if I don't get my sleep I'm not a very pleasant person to be around. Doing the "dance" workouts at home is the best option for me and it makes me happy because Allie tries to dance next to me and we spend time together and giggle.

So anyways, I'm going to keep doing the Shaun T workouts, the package that I bought gives me about 3 weeks of workouts (doing some of the same ones more than once) and then I will start Turbo Jam (oldie but goodie) and see how I like that one. I will continue to experiment with different at home workouts and post my updates here.
